Esembly's Outers are designed to be used in a variety of ways, making them one of the most versatile diaper covers on the market. These waterproof covers can be utilized in three primary ways:

1. CLOTH DIAPER COVER: Outers can be used over an Esembly Inner to create a complete, blowout-proof cloth diaper system. They are also compatible with other brands and styles of cloth diapers.

2. COVER FOR DISPOSABLES: Disposable diapers are notorious for leaks and blowouts. Outers can be used over a disposable diaper to provide an extra layer of protection and containment.

3. REUSABLE SWIM DIAPER: When used on their own without any absorbent inner, Outers make a fantastic reusable swim diaper for taking baby in the water.

To use the Outers, simply snap the cotton Esembly Inner (sold separately) onto the baby, then cover with the Outer. The independent snap rows allow you to adjust the waist and legs independently, ensuring a perfect, custom fit. Outers can also be used on their own as a swim diaper.

Esembly's cloth diaper system, including the Inners and Outers, are designed to be trim-fitting and avoid bulk. They come in two sizes (7-17 lbs and 18-35 lbs) to take your little one from birth through potty training without the need to size up clothing.

For full-time cloth diapering, we recommend having 24 Inners and 6 Outers. For part-time use, approximately 12 Inners and 4 Outers should suffice, following the general guideline of 3 Inners per Outer.
